The conference shed light on challenges facing Israel’s healthcare system such as a shortage of specialized manpower and over-reliance on foreign doctors. Prof Zion Hagai commended healthcare professionals for their dedication during crises but urged more support from the Ministry of Health to address systemic issues. He raised concerns about over-reliance on foreign physicians and emphasized investing in local talent to strengthen healthcare.
