Wellness Expo to be Hosted by Jefferson & Madison County Health Departments

The Jefferson & Madison County Departments of Health Chronic Disease Committee is organizing a wellness expo in honor of Colon Cancer Awareness Month. The event will feature over 30 vendors and take place at the First Baptist Church of Monticello from 4 to 7 p.m. Administrator Kimberly Allbritton discusses the importance of bringing the expo to the Monticello area in a video, highlighting its significance during National Colo-rectal Cancer Awareness Month.

The wellness expo aims to raise awareness about colo-rectal health and provide valuable information to the community. Attendees can expect free health screenings, disaster-preparedness information, giveaways, and more. Second Harvest of the Big Bend will also be present, offering free produce giveaways and cooking demonstrations.
